Introducing: DS Printables

Today marks the start of an occasional blog series called DS Printables: Free printable designs, from Delighted Studio, for your personal use*. To kick off the series, I've created a Thank You Note + Envelope set using my new font crush, Adios Script Pro. I have a client who needs Wedding Invitations for her 9-10-11 Wedding, and I am so excited to use this font for her Wedding Set. 

So, to get familiar with all of the beautiful characters this font offers,

The finish product! 

I hope you enjoy these note cards! Below I'll take you through how I assembled the cards. 

All you need is a printer, a few sheets of card stock, scissors and adhesive 
(glue stick, rubber cement, glue dots, etc.).

I prefer using glue dots because you can stretch them along the flaps of the envelope.

Once you've printed the DS Printables set, you're ready to start!

Once you've cut out your cards and envelopes,
follow the steps for folding your and gluing your envelopes.

When you're all done your finished set should look like this:

DS Printables: Fire Up the Grill

It's officially summer, which means - it's time for a summer barbecue! As the July Fourth holiday approaches, I'm sure many will be throwing, or attending, a barbecue to celebrate the holiday. With that in mind, the latest DS Printable is a Summer BBQ invitation. It's a great reason to have friends over and cook out -- just print and fill in the blanks. Happy barbecuing, everyone!

When I started the Delighted Studio blog, I thought it best to filter my posts. I tried to stay just within the design realm, and keep my personal posts and news to places like twitter or facebook. However, as time went on I had things I wanted to share, and Delighted Studio became a place for me to share stories about my family and other interests apart from my design work & projects.

I recently finished building my online portfolio, daniellemckenrick.com, and as a result I've decided to streamline. Why keep up to blogs when a lot of what I post would be duplicate material? So, I've decided to merge.

I will no longer be posting about Delighted Studio projects here, but rather on daniellemckenrick.com. You can find a link there to my Delighted Studio business page, but if you want to learn about my work & projects, daniellemckenrick.com is the place to go.
